Jennie sat down with Communications Manager, Claudia Butler to hear the impact of The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma on the Tulsa community.
Their mission is simple, to end hunger in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is one of only five states with a food insecurity rate above 14.5%. Feeding America projects it will climb to 22.5% in the coming years.
The Food Bank offers a variety of resources for Tulsans, whether it is locating a pantry close to you or navigating The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
